　　leeds的大部分专业都是不需要推荐信的，网申也不需要提供推荐人信息和附件。

　　今年曼大更新了新的网申系统之后，也有很大部分专业不需要推荐信了，网申也不需要提供推荐人信息和附件。

　　英国硕士留学申请条件

　　1、学位要求

　　通常而言，英国各大院校都要求硕士申请者，至少有本科学位，包括双学位、自考本科、专升本等等形式，只要是国内教育部门认可的本科学位，英国大学一般也认可。

　　大专毕业的同学同样可以申请英国研究生，除了通过不同方式获得本科学位外，大专毕业的同学还能去英国读硕士预科课程（Pre-master）。学生通过考核后，也可以申请英国大学硕士。

　　除此之外，极其少数拥有丰富相关工作经验的大专毕业学生，在学校特别认可的情况下，也有机会申请英国硕士。

　　2、成绩要求

　　成绩要求分为语言成绩和平时成绩。

　　申请英国硕士需要有语言成绩，如果没有，那就得先读语言班，所有英国大学都接受雅思成绩。

　　选择推荐人时要遵循熟悉、专业两大原则。

　　1、推荐人要熟悉你的学习和工作，熟悉你的动机和学习计划，要有比较密切的交流

　　推荐表中的“How long have you known the referee？what capacity？”就是问的推荐人和被推荐人之间的`熟悉程度。在此基础上，如果推荐人是外国教授，而该教授和你申请的学校又很熟悉，这种推荐往往会起到意想不到的效果；如果推荐人和你申请的学校教授又比较熟悉，处理好了，推荐信则会有化腐朽为神奇的力量；如果推荐人虽然不熟悉对方的教授，但是该专业内很有名的专家（诸如拥有院士之类的头衔的），经常参加国际交流，其推荐作用也不可忽视。不过，名人架子一般也很大，找申请人时，要先掂量掂量自己的分量。对于大部分来说，我认为找推荐人还是以找熟人为主，一是好说话，会很配合你的申请；二是在国外教授看来，很自然很合理。

　　现在英国绝大多数学校采用的是网申系统，只需要将签完名的推荐信进行扫描（PDF格式为佳），然后在网申系统中进行上传。
