　　篇一：女孩为梦想而努力 Girls struggle to pursue dreams

　　Girls at a training course offered by the "Care for Girls" program in Qingjian county, Shaanxi province, talked about their pursuit of dreams despite living in unfavorable conditions.

　　在陕西省清涧县一群女孩正参加“关爱女孩”项目提供的训练课程，她们谈到了自己在艰苦条件下仍坚持梦想的经历。

　　Initiated by the National Health and Family Planning commission in 2013, the program helps girls in underdeveloped regions to build their self-esteem and self-confidence.

　　在2013年国家卫生和计划生育委员会最先发起了这个计划项目，这个计划帮助了许多贫困地区的女孩们建立自尊和自信。

　　Xi Peiyao, 12, who attended the training course, said her dream is to be a teacher.

　　"I want to be a teacher teaching Chinese because I like Chinese and writing," Xi said. "By teaching I can not only share knowledge with my students, but also keep learning new things from new versions of textbooks."

　　She is living with her mother in a room that has no bathroom and costs 300 yuan ($$48) a month to rent. Merit certificates she received from school are displayed on the wall. Yan Lingling, Xi's mother, said she is proud of her daughter.

　　Speaking about how she plans to achieve her dream of becoming a teacher, Xi said: "I will not give up on my dream easily, though I know it may be difficult. When something becomes difficult, it only makes me want to try harder."

　　当谈及她如何实现自己成为教师的计划时，小席说：“我不会轻易放弃自己的梦想的，尽管我知道要实现目标很困难。当事情变的困难，那只会让我更想努力试试。”

　　篇二：人生是否需要梦想 Do We Need Dreams In Our Life

　　People’s whole life is not too long or too short. They have experienced many things in their life journey, such as, success, fail, happy, sad, and excited and so on. What about dreams? Some people think that they have so many things to deal with in the limit time. How can they spend time for dream? It is a waste of time. However, some people regard dreams are as important as their life. People can’t live without dream. In my opinion, I agree with the latter idea.

　　人的一生不长也不短。在他们的人生旅途中他们会经历很多事情，例如，成功，失败，快乐，悲伤，激动等。那梦想呢?有些人会觉得他们有那么多东西要做而时间却是有限的。哪还有时间花在梦想上?纯属浪费时间。然而，有些人把梦想当作自己的生命一样重要。没有了梦想人们难以生存。在我看来，我同意后者的观点。

　　First of all, dreams provide life motivation for human beings. If a person has a dream, he will try his best to take every chance to reach it. Even though he will meet many difficulties on the way, even has to give up, but he will renerve in the end. It is because he has dreams, and he has the desire to see the day his dream come true. So no matter what obstacle he meets, he has the motivation to overcome. This is the power of dreams.

　　首先，梦想为人们提供了生活的动机。如果一个有梦想的人，他会努力抓住每一个实现梦想的机会。在这路上虽然会遇到很多困难，甚至被逼放弃，但是最后他会重新振作的。因为他有梦想，他希望有梦想成真的一天。所以无论遇到什么障碍，他都会有克服的动机。这就是梦想的力量。

　　In addition, life without dreams is meaningless. We often see that when someone talks about his dream, his face is full of smile. It is because dreams give him hope and fun. No matter the dream is easy to make it or not, when the people think of it, they will have the beautiful vision to fight for. But if a person who don’t have a dream, he would not know what he should do and can do. His life is confused and meaningless.

　　此外，没有梦想的生活是没有意义的。我们经常看到当别人谈论他们梦想的时候，他的脸上是堆满笑容的。这是因为梦想给了他希望和乐趣。不管实现梦想的难易程度是多少，只要人们想起来的时候，就会为了这美好的愿景去奋斗。但是如果一个没有梦想的人，他会不知道应该做什么或者是能做什么。他的生活会充满了困惑和无意义。

　　In a word, dreams look like the lighthouse in the ocean. It gives people motivation and the meaning of their journey. It is so significant that everyone needs dreams.

　　总之，梦想就像是大海里的灯塔，给予人们动力和人生旅途的意义。它是那么的重要，所以每个人都需要梦想。
