　　Water is the basis of life. Animals and plants need water. So do we. Without food, we can live for a week, but we can't live for three days without water.

　　Recently, my classmates and I participated in the activity of Low – Carbon Living organized by the WWF. On the first day, we chose to go to school by bike or on foot rather than by bus or car. Then every family sets off long strings of small firecrackers and other fire works to welcome the new year. On the first day of the new year， almost everyone is dressed in his or her best.
