Every time I think of that mouth-watering dinner, I can't help but drool.
The year is thirty years old. Mom will be busy all day for dinner. There are fragrant and tender white chicken on the table, sweet and sour sweet and sour pork ribs, with an endless relish of ginger and onion duck, stir-fried lotus root slices, steamed dumpling and boiled meatballs... Of course, I love the braised lion head.
Every dish can satisfy my "black hole" appetite, but when I get the last dish because my stomach is too big, I can only "take the soldiers".

After that, we made a big dinner together. Our teacher is a brilliant cook who can make delicious foods. We all ate much. After dinner, we watched TV for a while and then we went home.

Today is Chinese New Year's Eve, my family had a big family party at home. It was a Chinese tradition that on New Year's Eve we make dumplings together and have them around midnight. Firstly, we prepared the pork mince and some vegetables for the dumplings.We also needed plenty of skins to make the dumplings. Some of us were making the dumpling skins, others were mixing the mince and vegetables together. All of us were enjoying the process of making dumplings and chatting with each other. Before midnight, when we heard the sound of New Year's Bell, the dumplings were ready for us to eat. It was such a wonderful night!

“What a poor dog!” I thought. Then I decided to bring him home. When we got back home, I gave him some food and drinks and played with him, but it seemed that he was a little sad. I knew he was missing his owner.
What could I do? I came up with an idea. Then I put up a ‘Dog-Found-Notice’ at the gate of our neighborhood with the help of Dad. A few days later, the owner of the dog came to my house. I was very happy to see the little dog go home with his owner, and I feel proud that I was able to give others a helping hand.

And the food for lantern festival is Tang Yuan, i have made some Tang Yuan in a ginger soup, my wife got a serious cold, so i cooked a pot of ginger soup for her.
