寒假开始后的第一个星期天，阴冷的雨下了整整一天。然而，在国际大酒店五楼会议室里却充满着欢声笑语，原来是卓越英语学校的卓越宝宝颁奖晚会正在这里举行。
晚会进入高潮后，主持人隆重地向大家介绍，“下面有请C5班同学为大家表演英文歌曲合唱《捉泥鳅》。” 我们怀着既紧张又兴奋的心情登台了，大家期待已久的这一刻终于到来了。我们C5班在学校圣诞歌曲比赛中获得了第一名，后又经过精心排练，被选为了本次晚会的主打节目。
C5班十多位同学穿上了统一的服装，每个人还特意化了装，脸部贴上亮闪闪的'星星，面带微笑地登上了舞台。先是路易斯和克莱弗边弹着道具吉他边转圈地走到舞台中间，路易斯显得特别滑稽，脚跺得很用力，似乎要给我们的英文歌添加一个欢快的前奏。
紧接着，玛丽亚和比尔用甜美的童声唱起了《捉泥鳅》，我们大家两人一组互相拍手，仿佛是身临其境地玩着游戏。随后，我一个人舞动着两块红色的手绢花，边哼歌曲边踩着简单的舞步，用舞蹈为节目增添一些亮点。节目最后，我们一起喊出了“Happy New Year”。
台上大家表演得十分卖力，台下家长们忙得不亦乐乎，拍照的拍照，录像的录像。伴随着一阵阵掌声，我们又告别了一个欢乐而又难忘的时刻。
