　　On Holiday Travel

　　For most people, they will choose to travel during holiday because they want to relieve themselves from the high pressure of work. However, it happens quite often that people often ran into traffic jams on the way to travel. Some people think that we can relax ourselves by traveling no matter of how many people there. Some people would rather to stay in home than going out to travel because they think there are too many people swarm into the scenic spots. In my point of view, I would rather to stay indoors rather than going out to travel. Reasons are listed below.

　　对于许多人来说，都会选择假期旅游，因为他们想要从巨大的工作压力中解放自己。但是，在去旅游的路上遇到交通堵塞的事情经常发生。一些人认为不管有多少人，我们还是可以通过旅游来放松自己。一些人情愿呆在家里也不远出去旅游，因为他们觉得旅游景点的人太多了。就我看来，我情愿呆在家里也不远走出去旅游。原因如下：

　　Firstly, during holiday, so many people swarm into the travel spots that we can't enjoy ourselves to the full. For most people, they want to travel because during holiday, they can have several days to relieve themselves by traveling. However, so many people crowd together will make their tour lose the original fun.

　　第一，在假期期间，太多的.人聚集在旅游景点，我们不能玩的很进行。对于很多人来说，他们想要在假期旅游因为他们在假期的时候才有几天的时间来放松自己。但是，太多的人拥挤在一起，就会失去旅游的本身的乐趣。

　　Secondly, during holiday, price will be rising drastically. It is known to all that you need to spend much more to buy things or taking bus or any other transportation since many retailers will raise goods' price during this holiday to get fat profits.

　　第二，在假期期间，物价会大幅上涨。众所周知，你需要支付更多的钱来买东西或坐车或者乘坐其他的交通工具，因为很多的商家会在此期间通过抬高物价来获取丰厚的利润。

　　All in all, travel during holiday is not a good choice for us since its inconvenience in traveling among a huge crowd of people and also the dramatically high price for goods and transportations will let us pay extra money.

　　总之，在假期旅游并不是一个好的选择。不仅是因为在旅游的时候穿梭于人群中会很不方便，而且也因为假期期间的物价及交通费用会飞涨而让我们多支付额外费用。

　　About the Emerald Hill Road. It’s just like Chinatown. You can take a walk and go shopping here. Walk into the Lstana. It’s the home to the president of Singapore. People can be here five times a year. Here are amazing plants.

　　Walk into the Singapore River. Its the only one river in the Singapore. People here called it "The River of Lifes".

　　About the Botanic Gardens and the Merlion Park it maybe a little funny.

　　It was called "The most expensive hotel in the world". This hotel spends 4,000,000,000 pounds. It has a swimming pool. Visitors can enjoy the beauty of the city for the top of the building. 　　Last month I went to Beijing to visit one of my friends, because we haven’t seen each other for about two years and I got a holiday meanwhile. It is my first time to visit Beijing, which is always the dream city for all the Chinese. All the information about the city came from the books and TV, now I could see and get know of it by myself, how excited I am!

　　上个月我去北京看望我的一个朋友，因为我们有将近两年没见，而我刚好有假期。这是我第一次游览北京，这座全中国人都向往的城市。我对北京的所以认知都来自电视和书本，而现在我有机会亲自来看这个城市、来了解她。我多么地兴奋！

　　There were so many tourist areas in my plan list, like Tian’anmen Square, Forbidden City, the Great Wall, the Perking University and so on. However, due to my short holiday I only visit several places of my list, with my friend’s companion. Tourism, in terms of its objective purposes, has a social function which contributes to human communication. Coming from vadous social backgrounds, having motives and goals of every kind, tourists get together, draw close and exchange ideas of their own, from which a fresh state of mind will be created. So what kind of production is it? To the question we should have good reason to give a proper answer: it is a spirit production, a reproduction of relations of production. And the more frequently such exchanges are made, the more good they will do to promoting social and economic development of the mutual. If it is the case that making money through tourism means a dent we have made, so it foretells a fortune to provide cultural service along with tourism. Therefore, to keep close eyes on the latter involves changing our minds first, that is, tourism is by no means a pure economic concept, but takes plenty of ideological activities as its content.

　　To sum up, unlike other economic forms, the profits from tourism economy cannot be measured completely by means of how much output value, profit, and foreign exchange it will produce. In addition to the reputation of pollution-free industry, its social and far-reaching profit should be probed more deeply. As such the existing scenic spots ought to be kept in good maintenance, and some new ones exploited. Moreover, constructing first-class soft and hard surroundings is desired to attract tourists, the foreign and the domestic。

We danced with them around the campfire that night. I really had a good time.

　　I like the elephants and fruits there best. An elephant is even taller than me! I even mounted the elephant, though I was very afraid at first. But the elephant seemed very friendly. I took some photos with it. The fruits there are very fresh and delicious. They are very good for our health.

　　The trip to Yunnan impressed me GREatly. I will never forget it.
