In my opinion the problem of the high schoolers＇ hair style has been overemphasized. So far as I know, this problem has been existing for quite a long time and possibly in our country alone. High school students are supposed to study hard, but it seems that few care what they really want. I just graduated from high school this year. While in high school I didn＇t care much about my hair style, but whenever the school checked to see if we had had our hair cut I always felt a little annoyed. If anyone forgot to have his hair cut to the required standard, he was sure to be reprimanded or even punished. I hope our high school can show a greater interest in helping students cultivate their minds than in picking holes in their hair.
Once in a while our society seems to be interested in this problem too, but it is a pity that the students＇ own view in this matter is rarely consulted. That is why students often quarrel with their teachers, and this mutual misunderstanding is often detrimental to the students themselves. Most high school students do not really care what their hair style is; what they beef about is perhaps the constant check on their hair length. Why doesn＇t the Ministry of Education release high school students from this particular pressure? No wonder more and more youngsters in school are inclined to commit offenses. After dinner, we always watch TV New Year progammes. We have a wonderful evening on New Year’s Eve.On the first day of the Spring Festival, most of people get up early and say “happy new year” to each other. For breakfast, people often eat dumplings and baozi. After breakfast, people often make many delicious foods, and children often play cards, computer games and fireworks. On the second and third day, we visit friends and relatives.

The spirit of tea permeates Chinese culture, and throughout the country there are many kinds of teas, teahouses, tea legends, tea artifacts and tea customs. Better-known places to enjoy a good cup of tea in China include Beijing noted for its variety of teahouses; Fujian and Guangdong provinces and other places in the southeast of China that serve gongfu tea, a formal serving of tea in tiny cups; the West Lake in Hangzhou, also the home of the Tea Connoisseurs Association, noted for its excellent green tea; and provinces in southwest China like Yunnan where the ethnic groups less affected by foreign cultures retain tea ceremonies and customs in original tea-growing areas.

the changes in diet can be accounted for by a number of factors. first, people are much wealthier than before. with higher income,they can afford to buy good foods. another factor is that people have realized the importance of a balanced diet to their health. lack of certain amount of meat or milk,for eample, will result in poor health. finally, owing to the eeonomic reform, meat, chicken, fish and milk, which were scarce in the past, are produced in large quantities. for all these reasons, what was formerly called "the basket of vegetables" has.
to sum up, insignificant as those changes may seem, they are the signs of the improved economic condition in china. we believe that as long as the effort continuous in reform and opening to the outside world, there will be greater changes in peoples diet in the future.
