　　开学初，我在我们组订的英语报纸上看到了“小学生英语作文大赛”的消息，免报名费，但是，又仔细一读，每个参赛选手要订阅全年的报纸，大约三十多元，这等于是有报名费的。在教研会上讨论时，大家认为订阅报纸钱数过多，订阅的报纸也没有时间组织学生学习，不如在五、六年级组织比赛作文，不收报名费，成为我们组的学科活动，这一共识达成之后，我们五、六年级的四位英语教师就把任务布置下去了：题目自拟，题材不限，字数达50个单词以上，语言流畅，书写美观。

　　我们给学生的写作时间是一个月。

　　十一月，我们的活动正式开展。经过统计，此次作文比赛共收上来英语文章240余篇，其中五年级110篇，六年级130篇。经过各位教师的评选，批改，共评出一等奖20人，二等奖50人，三等奖80人，鼓励参与奖90人。各奖项已经发了奖品作为奖励。

　　本次活动的举行，五、六年级的学生参与性强，经常有孩子来问老师怎么选题，用什么时态来写，这个句型这样写行不行，这句话中的这个词能不能用别的词来代替。他们写好以后，还请教师批改，再工工整整的.重新誊抄一遍，在写作文的过程当中，他们的词汇增多了，句型运用更灵活了，就连书写也美观了，许多学生有了收获。

　　本次活动的举行，体现了小学英语课程标准的对学生的写的能力的要求，并且高于新课标的要求，对学生的写作能力是个锻炼，提高了他们写作的积极性，促使他们积极主动的学习，从要我背单词到我要积极的多背单词。学习态度发生了转变。体现了新课标的要求。

　　本次活动也有值得注意的地方：
