One night Wu Gang was lying in bed. Then suddenly a loud cry for help woke him up. He looked out of the window and found his neighbour‘s house was on fire.
Wu Gang hurried to telephone 119 for help. Then he ran out at once. He saw many people trying to put out the fire with water, and he quickly joined in. After some time, the firefighters arrived, the big fire was out at last. Luckily, no house was destroyed by the fire and all the people were safe.
一天晚上，吴刚正躺在病床上。然后突然大声呼救声惊醒了他。他向窗外望去，发现他的邻居的`房子着火了。
吴刚急忙致电119求助。然后他跑了出去一次。他看到很多人试图扑灭了火与水，他很快加入了。一段时间后，消防队员赶到，大火被挖出来了。幸运的是，没有房子被大火摧毁，所有的人都安全。

这是我第一次对自己的考验。一直以来，我对自己的英语学习不太有信心。在老师和妈妈的鼓励下，我决定接受一次考验，于是我报名参加了口语二星考试。因为妈妈工作繁忙，好不容易在我的催促下，在临考前一周至书城买了二星辅导书。这么短的时间，只能挑灯夜战了。我下定决心，每天在做完功课后花一个小时的时间认真复习，大声朗读、仔细聆听。功夫不负有心人，一个星期下来，书上的知识基本能熟练背读。
１２月９日下午，我提早来到沪东中学，虽然之前已经信心大增，但面临考试，我的心还是有点忐忑不安。进入考场，我的'心似乎平静了一些。这次考试一共有７个项目，比如看看说说、快听快答、朗读儿歌等，需要通过５个项目就能过关。面对一个接一个的项目，我层层过关，使我越来越有信心，前６个项目中有５个项目均顺利过关，但最后一个朗读儿歌项目，因有三个单词未能准确发音，被老师在准考证上盖上了“下次你能行”的鼓励话语。但不管怎样，我还是通过了这次考试。
通过这次考试，让我知道只要付出努力，对自己充满信心，就能得到收获，在以后的学习中，我会加倍努力，争取多一点的收获。

Yesterday was a terrible day. In the morning, my alarm did not go off so l woke up late at 7:00 .But l have to be at school by 8:00 .So l run to the bus stop but l still missed the bus. Then l was waiting for the bus when it began to rain heaving. At 8:30 l got to school, my teaters felt argry, l felt bad all day. At 4:30 pm lt was time for home. l was so busy looking for the umbrella that l did not see a car coming and l was completely wet. When l got home. I took a hot shower and ate some warm food.I felt better.
Yesterday was such a busy day!
