I excitedly went to the balcony to see the beautiful fireworks, make the sky look like some stars, a riot of colours, like some willows, and some like dancing snake...... It looks great!

春节英语作文 篇4

Far and away the most important holiday in China is Spring Festival, also known as the Chinese New Year. To the Chinese people it is as important as Christmas to people in the West.

The dates for this annual celebration are determined by the lunar calendar rather than the Gregorian calendar, so the timing of the holiday varies from late January to early February.

To the ordinary Chinese, the festival actually begins on the eve of the lunar New Year's Day and ends on the fifth day of the first month of the lunar calendar. But the 15th of the first month, which normally is called the Lantern Festival, means the official end of the Spring Festival in many parts of the country.

春节英语作文 篇5

We look forward to the New Year. I can stop for a couple of days now.

These days, I really tasted the flavor of the year.

On the afternoon of the New Year, I hurried to my grandmother's house. As soon as I entered the house, the warm smell greeted me. Brother, brother and sister came, and at night, the family sat on a stool and ate the reunion dinner. After dinner, we stood on the balcony upstairs and watched the fireworks downstairs. First put the flower basket, flower basket is made up of six round hole, blows the basket ", "first spark, suddenly" bang "a fly in the sky, blown into many colorful spark, so the spray, the six like being blessed people!

There is still some time for the Spring Festival gala. We wear new clothes for the Spring Festival and go to the Lantern Festival together.

Walking in the street, there are so many people, all kinds of lights hanging in the trees. Walking in the middle of the lawn, I could see a small pavilion with colorful lights on it.

On both sides, there are all kinds of lights on the lawn, small houses, and lotus pond... From a distance, it is a fairytale world. The lamp is much, the person is natural also much, the person that looks at the lamp is really shoulder-to-shoulder. On the face of everyone, there is a bright smile, filled with the celebration of the New Year. We took the camera and filmed the scene.

As soon as we got home, the program began, and the whole family sat around the sofa, tasting the delicious "New Year's dinner" that CCTV had brought us. We were impressed by the graceful dancing, beautiful singing and humorous sketch, which made us laugh. How happy I am to celebrate the New Year with my family!

"When... When...... The New Year's bell tolled, and the sound of the firecrackers around it lit up the dark night sky. Firecrackers, laughter ringing became a "symphony" was a Duan Yousheng non-ferrous, are interwoven with all the voices of the nature, the stars of heaven forget sleep, stop to watch! I looked out of the window, and I made a New Year's wish with a shooting star. I believe that in the New Year, I will make greater progress and gain more.

春节英语作文 篇7

The Chinese character "fu" (meaning blessing or happiness) is a must. The character put on paper can be pasted normally or upside down, for in Chinese the "reversed fu" is homophonic with "fu comes", both being pronounced as "fudaole." What's more, two big red lanterns can be raised on both sides of the front door. Red paper-cuttings can be seen on window glass and brightly colored New Year paintings with auspicious meanings may be put on the wall.

People attach great importance to Spring Festival Eve. At that time, all family members eat dinner together. The meal is more luxurious than usual. Dishes such as chicken, fish and bean curd cannot be excluded, for in Chinese, their pronunciations, respectively "ji", "yu" and "doufu," mean auspiciousness, abundance and richness. After the dinner, the whole family will sit together, chatting and watching TV. In recent years, the Spring Festival party broadcast on China Central Television Station (CCTV) is essential entertainment for the Chinese both at home and abroad. According to custom, each family will stay up to see the New Year in.

Waking up on New Year, everybody dresses up. First they extend greetings to their parents. Then each child will get money as a New Year gift, wrapped up in red paper. People in northern China will eat jiaozi, or dumplings, for breakfast, as they think "jiaozi" in sound means "bidding farewell to the old and ushering in the new". Also, the shape of the dumpling is like gold ingot from ancient China. So people eat them and wish for money and treasure.
