　　Women’s Union of Chicago demonstrated against the inequality between men and women. They demanded that they should have the same payments, the same working hours as men had, and they should have the rights to vote. They even put forward a slogan: Bread and Rose, which stood for equal payment and a better living standard. This demonstrated had caused international attention to the women’s rights. A year later, a critical meeting was held in Demark, in order to promote the women’s liberation and equal rights, the council members decided to establish the Women’s Day on March 8th. 　　希丽亚老师是我的课外英语老师，她长得高高瘦瘦，好像一阵风就会吹倒的样子，这和她自称是土生土长的内蒙古人的形象相去甚远。她平时喜欢素颜，戴一副红框眼镜，扎着丸子头，穿着一身宽松的衣服，搭配着一双长靴，看起来不像严肃认真的老师，倒是像随意洒脱的文艺女青年。

　　希丽亚老师应该跟我妈妈的年龄差不多，因为我听她说，她生小孩比较晚，她的小孩要小我几岁。但是也许是因为总和孩子打交道的原因，她眼神纯净、笑容柔和、思想新潮，讨论起问题来，丝毫没有代沟，仿佛与我们同龄呢。

　　希丽亚老师很喜欢我，经常说我是她的“得意弟子”，对于这个称呼我还是很惭愧的，因为我平时没少给她制造麻烦。但是希丽亚老师一直都非常耐心地包容我，这让我对她充满了感激之情。

　　每一年的年末总结会前，同学们都会用一年攒下的积分卡兑换礼物，去年我迟到了，希丽亚老师怕我换不到自己心爱的礼物，她就提前帮我预备了一些。有大灰狼、朝颜仙子、天枰和外星仔，我没有想到老师居然会为我做这些，而且都是我喜欢的`，我非常感动。总结会上她代表课外班老师发言，当她提到我的进步的时候，眼里似乎泛起了泪花，我也感动得湿了眼眶。的确，在我们相处的这几年，她几乎每一天都会对我的作业进行认真的点评，我在英文上的进步都是因为她一直以来的坚持才实现的。
