　　Lilia是我们的英语老师。她胖胖的身材，长着一个活泼的脸蛋。鼻梁上架着一副眼镜，镜片后面的一双眼睛挺大，挺有神。

　　虽然她是我们的老师，但由于岁数不大，性格和我们差不多，同学们挺爱上她的课，因为她和别的老师不一样，活泼、风趣，课堂上经常是笑语连连，一节课下来，不觉得有什么累。特别是最近发生的一件事，使我对英语老师的感觉特好。

　　说实话，英语是我的弱项。每次上英语课，我都不会象那些英语基础好的同学那样嘻嘻哈哈，惟恐听漏点什么。随着课文越来越长，单词也越来越多，总有点赶不上趟的感觉。所以每天放学回到家，第一件事就是赶紧背单词、记词组。然而英语是这样的.麻烦，单词、词组记住了，语法又常常搞不明白。咋办呢？家长不懂英语，问同学又不放心。

　　突然，我想起英语老师告诉过我们她的电子信箱。于是，我计上心来，把不懂的问题归纳起来，在一个周六的晚上给她发了个电子邮件。第二天一早，我醒来第一件事就是赶紧查看我的电子信箱，哈，还真有Lilia给我的邮件。我急忙调出来，真是太好了，她不仅认真的进行了解释，还举例说明了具体用法，把困扰我的问题都解决了。而且周一上课时，她又把我提的问题，在课堂上对大家又讲了一遍。

　　也许是我过于胆小，也许是自尊心过强，反正我不太习惯课堂提问。英语老师将她的邮件地址告诉了我们，使我们可以通过发电子邮件向老师请教问题，这种方法特好。当然，这肯定会影响老师日常休息。因此，我想对她说：老师，谢谢你。

At the same time, the water pollution is getting serious. So, I think we should unite together and do something about it.
