　　在一个不宁静的夜里，鸡飞狗跳，当时我在抬鱼缸，突然，一阵刺耳的电话声响起，一个不留神，我踩到断了脚的芭比娃娃，金鱼躺了一地。生死一瞬间，我立刻捡起地上那奄奄一息的金鱼，才发现有通电话忘了接。过了五分钟，那通宛如烦人的大苍蝇般的铃声又来了。“喂？”我不耐烦的说着，“这里是英文补习班，我们想派你参加英文朗读比赛。”就这样我莫名奇妙的要去参加比赛了。

　　拿到文章后，密密麻麻的英文让我眼花撩乱，查完所有的英语单词后，已经过了一个礼拜，时间像飞箭般，瞬间闪过。比赛迫在眉睫，我才念熟第一篇文章，却不知死活，每天依旧快乐似神仙。

　　当要抽顺序及篇目时，我才开始有点良心不安，但天助我也！抽到我最有把握的第一篇，代价是要第一个上场…….在念的时候，几十双眼睛瞪着我，我要控制好情绪，才不会伸手去挖那些鹰眼般的眼珠。那种致命的窒息感心脏有点应付不来，只能扑通！扑通！的愈跳愈快。刚开始念得还满通顺的`，可是到最后一段时，整颗心脏好像已经塞满我的喉咙，快念不下去了，好不容易比赛终于结束，我已吓到站不起来，留了十五分钟的冷汗终于停止。

　　成绩发下来了，我竟然第二名，评语写：“台风好、音量大，如果再努力，会有更不错的演出。”我乐歪了，虽然表面上装得很平常，心里却想着：“哈！唐哥是佳作，终于有一个项目比他强了！哈！”那时，我咬住舌头才能避免自己大叫。

　　其实，演说和朗读都是训练胆量的，名次只是其次，但经过这次比赛的恐怖经历，若想要多活几年，任何比赛可千万不要再临时报佛脚啰！
