　　I have a secret. I have saved some pocket money, because I want to buy a present for my mother. My mother is a housewife. She takes care of all the chores. 　　在小学阶段，教英语作文是一件很令人头疼的事。学生们单词量少，语法知识贫乏，硬让学生强写，是错误百出，甚至还有很多的中式英语，闹出不少笑话。我分以下四个步骤来教作文，目前感觉效果不错。

　　第一、仿写句子。就是将句子中的关键词用其它同类的单词来代替。

　　第二、翻译句子。将中文句子翻译成相对应的英文句子。这是用来锻炼学生的表达能力的。

　　第三、仿写课文。这里的课文包括简单的对话、段落和短文。这实际也是仿写句子的一种延伸。也是替换课文中的`关键词，让它再另外自成一篇。我现在教的一些中等水平的学生都基本能很好地仿写课文，有时还能有让人惊喜的创新。

　　最后，让能力较好的学生试着写命题作文。

　　在教英语作文时，切忌急于求成，要由简到难，循序渐进，一步一步地走。如果，一上手就让学生写命题作文，他们就会望而生畏，却步不前，不知道从哪里下手。

　　One Saturday morning, my parents and I went to the beach for a picnic. I was very excited.

　　We went to there by car. My mother bought a lot of food and drinks .Soon,we arrive to the beach .We put a mad on the sand under a tree and took the food and drinks out of the basket .Then we changed our suit .We jumped into the sea .I was very happy when we saw beautiful coral ,fish .

　　In the evening ,it was time to go home .We hoped we could go to the seaside again.
