自从上了高中之后，我的英语成绩下降的有点明显了。
要知道中考的时候，我的英语成绩算是高分了，而在众多的科目中，我也比较偏爱语文和英语。
我有认真想过原因，可结果让自己有点瞠目结舌，那就是因为有点不太喜欢我们的高中英语老师。
俗话说，没有对比就没有伤害。其实也许在别人眼中我们的英语老师还不错，她是一个瘦黑的中年女子，个子不高，如果不是站在讲台上，你肯定不会把她和老师这个职业联系在一起。
也许有人觉得是形象影响我们的喜好，但我觉得应该是英语口音吧，跟初中的英语老师那浑厚且标准化的男低音比起来，怎么听怎么觉得这位女老师的口语听的别扭。
初中的`英语老师虽然也是一个个子不高的中年男子，但是他的嗓音很好听，听他讲英语让人觉得是一种享受，会有想着跟他一样说出一口流利英语的学习热情。
可这位女老师确有点儿让人消退学习热情，看着她卖力地在黑板上写着语法，我觉得至少她也是很努力的一个人。
也许我们不能因为外界的干扰给自己打退堂鼓的理由，爱不爱学习，最关键是靠自己，有的人自学都能学出好成绩，更何况我们还有英语在教导呢。

星期四，那个下着蒙蒙细雨的早晨，怀着紧张和激动的心情，我来到了磐安教育局参加一场郑重的比赛:英语口语电视大赛。
我们经过一个小时的.路程，我们来到了比赛场地。我看见几百个选手在侯场区等待，天哪！真是高手如云啊！！看到这个场面，连参加过多个比赛的我也让紧张和沉重的心情朝我涌来。我拿到了63这个号码，多少给了我一点安慰，还好不是在很前面。
让我没想到的是，前面的人一下就比好了，很快便轮到了我。我拿着我制作的道具走进了赛场。看见四个评委亲切的笑容，我又不紧张了，其中一个评委还是来自加拿大的国际友人。我面带笑容，十分流利地讲完了我的稿子，对评委说了一句：Goodbye！我高兴地走出了赛场。心里一块沉重的石头落了下来。
比赛后的没几天，我便知道了我的名次，我拿了一等奖里的第六名。太不可思议了，我竟然拿了一等奖！可是我与决赛擦肩而过了。我觉得太可惜了，但我还是为进决赛的人高兴，希望他们能在决赛中取得好成绩。
每一次比赛，都是一次成长的过程，这场比赛，让我多了一个美好的回忆，一次成长的历练。
