外婆看到我，招了招手说：“乖孙，过来！这字母是啥意思，咋念？”我在旁边看着，笑着说：“这是单词，不是字母。”外婆恍然大悟地说：“对，对，叫单词。那是啥意思？”我卖了个关子，说：“天上的东西。”外婆说：“月亮？”我说：“OK！”外婆又问：“‘OK’，我知道是啥意思。是‘好的’，对吗？”我说：“要不我教您学英语吧！”外婆说：“好呀，省得看报纸时，突然出现个英语单词我看不懂。”
外婆说：“开始上课吧！”“好的。”我说，“现在呀，英语就像自行车，人手一辆……”“赶快进入正题！”我刚开始讲课，外婆就急着说。我说：“我这不是在抛砖引玉吗？好，英语有26个字母，您知道吗？”外婆说：“不知道，但我知道俄语有33个字母。”我说：“英语是26个字母，不是俄语，请不要走题。”外婆说：“Yes，Madam！”“‘Madam’是女士，我是先生。”我连忙纠正了外婆的“问好”，“‘Yes，Madam’是‘是的，女士’，‘Sir’才是‘先生’的.意思。您该说‘Yes，Sir’！”外婆沮丧地说：“我还以为你会夸我有英语基础呢！”“再学一个单词，good，G—O—O—D，‘好’。”我说。外婆跟读：“狗的，鸡—哦—哦—得，狗的，好。”我说：“是‘姑的’，good。”外婆：“哦，是‘姑的’，good。”“对了，好！”我表扬道。
