Today I had a great time with my friends. First we went to the Sunshine Hotel to swim. All of us were good at it and swam a lot. After two hours’ swimming, each of us felt hungry and tired. Nice to hear from you again. This summer vacation, at the end of July, we winners of NEPCS went to a four-day summer camp held in Yantai. Some English teachers from China, The USA, England and Australia joined us. We had an English speech competition, watched wonderful performances given by the students in Yantai and visited some places of interest. Besides, we exchanged our English learning experience. All the time English was spoken. Thus our spoken English has greatly improved and I have made many new friends. We really had great fun in the camp.

这次去欧洲旅游，我收获很多，其中有一点就是让我对学习英语的体会又深了一层。
去欧洲之前，我学英语时基本都是哑巴英语，从来不去大声读，发音总是不标准，而且学习过程中没有兴趣，所以虽然反复学但是效果不好，学习效率很低，浪费了很多时间。
在欧洲，我发现熟练掌握英语非常重要，无论是在旅游景点还是购物商场，英语总是通用的语音，在很多情况下，由于英语不好，不能准确地表达出自己的想法，而产生很多遗憾。在卢浮宫参观时，虽然有英文的讲解器，但因为听不懂，就不能更好的欣赏这个艺术宝库。在意大利，就连最简单的买冰激凌，由于不会用英语说“香草”这个词，也无法品尝更多地口味。这样的事情，几乎每天都会发生。所以在国外时，我就暗暗下了决心，今后一定要认真学习外语，熟练掌握好外语。还有一点，我看到外国人说英语时口型都是非常夸张的，有时嘴巴张得很大，有时嘴巴撅得很厉害。我回想了一下自己的发音，说英语时口型和汉语发音差不多，口型不到位，发音自然也不会标准了。
有了这两点体会，我对英语的学习有了更多的.动力和认识。回国后在假期里学习音标时，我开始大声地练习，丢掉了以前的不好意思，尽量的把口型做到位，发音慢慢地纠正过来。当然，今后我还要继续持久的练习，期待下次出国游时，我可以说的更多，听得更多！

After we booked into a hotel, we rested.
Our fun started the next day and lasted for two long weeks.
During our time there, we ate delicious exotic food and drank numerous fruit juices.
The Hawaiians are very proud of their unique food, often 'spiced up' with slices of juicy pineapple and strings of delicious cheese.
There were also fantastic beaches right accoss the tiny atoll.
The water was sparkling blue and the sand dunes radiated with an inviting warmth of gold.
The place was wonderful and the locals were really nice; I really enjoyed my holiday.

本届英语节与以往不同，同学们自主组队，自主编排剧本，连道具和背景都是同学们亲手制作和准备，每一位同学都积极参与，大家利用课间休息的时间，排练剧本，制作道具，积极备战，享受着合作的`乐趣。
等着，盼着，终于到了比赛那天，同学们互相化妆、造型，穿着自己设计的服装，个个自信满满的等待着走上舞台的那一时刻。我和饶婧潇合唱一首英文歌“You raise me up!”，在音乐响起时，我们渐入佳境，投入到了音乐的殿堂之中，老师和同学都被吸引，得到了雷鸣般的掌声，此时我的内心无比激动与自豪。
闭幕仪式上，我们还获得了在升旗仪式上向全校展示的机会。我身穿礼服，满面春风，昂首挺胸的站在舞台上，面对着台下同学们的一张张灿烂笑脸，让我无比兴奋。我们再一次的把英文歌展示给全校师生欣赏，校园里到处回荡着歌声与掌声。我们脸上洋溢着幸福与喜悦，还有那满满的收获！
快乐总是很短暂，这届英语节我们收获的不仅是荣誉，收获的是团结、合作，是自主、自信，更是成长！感谢我们的学校，给我们提供了舞台，给我们展示自己的机会。我期盼着下一届的英语绘本节早日到来！
