英语老师，是使我受益最多的老师。
老师姓罗，身高中等，相貌平平，一双有神的眼睛却为他增添了光彩，让人看到那双眼睛便不由自主地被他眼中的光亮所吸引。他手上总是拿着一根小棍，一尺来长，不为打人所用，唯一的用处就是在上课时敲击几下讲桌，将我们从下课时的散漫拽回到上课的专注。
罗老师与其他老师不一样，他很好说话，人也是温和慈爱的。他是四川人，说着带着方言的普通话，可读英语时却是听不出方言来的，发音很标准，也是令人惊奇了。
我小学时，英语成绩十分拿不出手。我曾经将英语视为我平生最痛恨的学科，甚至一度放弃英语。枯燥无聊的abc，分不清的单词拼法和各种语法让我手足无措。可是，罗老师的出现为我点燃了希望。
罗老师讲课前，总是要先讲单词的`。本来记忆力不错的我每天跟着读，也可将我最厌恶的字母背下来。但是因为基础差，介词、动词什么的一概分不清。老师在上面讲课，坐在下面的我脑袋里一团懵，禁不住将这些疑问脱口而出。老师顿了一下，便看着我的眼睛，放慢语速，细细地讲着，直到我眼中的疑惑消失，做出恍然大悟状，他才放心一笑，对我轻轻点点头，继续讲下面的内容。
照这般学下去，英语成绩渐渐转好，后来竟至突飞猛进。这让原本对英语深恶痛绝的我转变了态度，原来英语也不是那么面目可憎嘛，由此更是对这位负责的老师心生感激。
老师曾对我说：“不要在意你的小考分了嘛，现在抓紧学，什么都不晚的。只要你想学，那些都不叫事儿。”我至今记得老师说这话时轻快的语气和满眼的期待。
现在，我的英语成绩虽不是拔尖的，却也一直在往上走。每想至此，心中对老师的感激更深了。
每当我学习压力大，满心疲惫时，耳边总是响起老师那句：“只要你想学，那些都不是事儿。”
