　　China's Great Wall is known to the world as one of the seven great wonders of the world. It is located in North China. It is over 6000 kilometres in length and is 25 feet high in average. The ancient people started to built the wall in the 7th Century BC with earth,brick and stone, and joined it in the Qin Dynasty. The Great Wall was built in ancient China to keep out invaders, however, it is now regared as one of the most important tourist spots in our country or even in the whole world. Every year, it is visited by thousands of people from all over the world.

　　One can surely achieve something as long as he or she has great confidence in themselves. and it will help us greatly in both our life and work. confidence will lead to a better probability of success when you are working on something either important or not.

　　To build up great confidence one has to believe in himself or herself whatever they are doing and more importantly to foster the capability by learning more relevant knowledge and putting it into practice.

　　我们班有一个幽默的老师，对了，老师姓张，个子不高，一头乌黑的头发，大大的眼镜上戴着一副小眼镜，还有一张能说会道的嘴巴。用两个字形容漂亮，用四个字来说非常幽默。

　　为什么说她幽默呢？有件事至今让我难以忘怀。有一次星期天，我跟爸爸妈妈去溧水采草莓，因为路上堵车，我们很晚才回到家。第二天上午上英语课时，我在课上觉得眼皮有千斤重，老是向下汇聚。老师让我回答问题，我支支吾吾想了半天也没回答上来，老师皱着眉头，严厉的望着我，慢慢地走到我跟前，突然手里变出了黑板擦，以迅雷不及掩耳之势“啪”的一拍，白色的粉笔灰落在我的脸颊上，我就像戏剧里的`小丑一样，教室里都安静了下来，沉寂片刻后突然爆发出雷鸣般的嘲笑声，我的脸唰的一下红到了脖子根，老师随即没收了我的一支最喜欢的钢笔，我当即清醒了，丝毫不敢再开小差了，全神贯注，一丝不苟的听起课来。过了片刻，张老师又叫我起来回答：“What’syouname？”，我站起来信心十足的大声说“MynameisLiWanYing，”“That’sOK”，老师眼里露出满意的目光，像电视里的主持人一样大声宣布：“恭喜你，答对了！”边说老师边缓缓走到我的面前，把我的钢笔又还给了我，语重心长的说：“好好听课哟！”，我使劲点了点头。

In the evening, she used to watch TV with her family, but now she must go to bed early, because she has to get up early in the morning to read the text books.
