　　One clay a monkey and a gorrila were playing by the side of a river. The monkey noticed a tree with plenty of peaches on the small island across the river. How he wished to have a good taste! But he could not swim across the river.

　　Suddenly a good idea came upon his mind. He asked the gorilla to help him lay a long stick across the river so that they could share the peaches together. No sooner had the monkey gone across the river than he took the stick away. The gorilla couldn`t get across the river and got angry. Then he decided to go away without helping the monkey back.

　　The monkey ate a lot of peaches before he realized he couldn`t go back home. He had nothing to do but cry alone. It really served him right.

　　People like me prefer the saying, "A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush." Conservative as it may be, it keeps me out of trouble. I must confess, however, that leading such a moderate life may, at times, be boring. Admittedly, my life is not half as colorful or exciting as other people＇s but at least it gives me a sense of security.

　　回想小学刚毕业时，想象着自己憧憬着丰富多彩的初中生活，想象着自己踏着轻快的脚步，背着新买书包，走进充满着生气的学校，呼吸着清新的空气，同学之间互相帮助，老师和谐友善，那一切的一切都是那么美好。

　　可事与愿违上到初中后，科目突增，同学之间的交流少了，老师明天瞪着大大的眼睛在讲台上施压，我知道我自己英语不好，所以上课时总是打起了十二分的精神，不知是老师讲得太快了，还是我的脑子转不过来，所以每节课下来都不知道老师上课时讲了什么，每天早上记单词，晚上记短语，明天几乎都泡在英语的海洋里。

　　终于有一天，我担心的事情还是发生了，上自习课时，老师发了练习册下来，我拿起英语练习册，却发现自己像是在看天文历史般，脑瓜子瞬间懵了，于是我就问我们班的.“小天才”可是听她叽叽咕咕的讲了半天，我还是满脸懵逼。

　　过了半个月后，老师竟然在上自习课时满脸微笑的走进教室，手里还抱着试卷，一看就是要考试了，英语君你怎么可以怎么突如其来，让我毫无防备，我迅速的看了看试卷，我就感觉脑袋要炸开了，看了半天，都不知道该怎么做，也就被你在突如其来的一击，击得落花流水，战败归来啊！英语君你的试卷，后面的横线我又该填什么啊！感觉你是在嘲笑我：谁叫你那么笨，那么勤奋，竟然连这么简单的题目都不会做，真是笨死了！
