　　some people think we should read selectively. they argue that with the development of modern science and technology, more and more books are published every day. it is impossible for us to read all the books. what’s more, there are many bad books that are poisonous to our mind, and we shouldn’t read them. since we can’t read all the books, and we shouldn’t read bad books, we must read selectively.

　　but others many not agree. they emphasize that today’s society is not what it used to be. if you want to be successful, you must read widely and learn knowledge in both natural sciences and humanities. if a man knows much in one field but knows nothing in others, he may be useless. since we must have many kinds of knowledge, we must read etensively.

　　who’s right? there is a lot to be said for both sides of the argument. however, i think we should read etensively first and then learn deeply about the subject we are interested in.

It is a shame to work freelance in the old days, people would said that the one who are self-employedis a lazy man, and this kind of job is not security, they fear of instability. 　　现在越来也多的人选择做自由职业者而不是为某人工作了。在以前自由职业者是令人羞耻的，人们会说这种人很懒，还有这种工作没保障，他们害怕不稳定。然而，现在观念改变了，自由职业者已经被广泛地接受了，包括我。

　　In the first place, one of the biggest advantages of work freelance is that you are the master of your time. Once you areself-employed, you are able to manage your time by your own wish. You do not have to get up very early in the morning, especially in a cold winter morning,and take a crowded bus in case you will not late for work, which links directly to your salary. For me, I would love to stay home in my pajamas rather than fight through traffic so I can sit in a cubicle all day.

　　第一，自由职业的最大优势就是你是你时间的主人。一旦你当了自己的老板，你就可以按照自己的意愿去管理你的时间。你不必每天早上早早起床，尤其是在寒冷的冬天早晨，又去挤公车，省的自己迟到，这直接关系到你的工资。就我来说，我宁愿穿着睡衣在家里也不要艰辛地挤公车然后在办公室的小格子里闷一天。
