　　就在一个月前，我和郑凯慧意外的被选为参加英语演讲比赛。

　　第一个任务就是自我介绍。天哪我连最简单的写作，写短短的一片英语作文都不会，还叫我写自我介绍，这不是比登天还难吗?我只好硬着头皮自己写一点，网上翻译一点，东拼西凑出一篇文章。之后，我便尝试着一点一点的背诵。可开头就把我给难住了：小学的英文叫做“elementary school”这么长的英语单词可怎么读呀!我又是问老师又是查电脑，终于把它克服了!之后，我又是准备十篇文章，又是读书本上的英语小短文，所有的一切都准备好了，就只差东风了!

　　12月11日，我怀着忐忑不安的心情出发了。很快，我们就到达了目的地。在准备的报告厅里，人声鼎沸，一会儿从东面传来“Hello,every one.”一会儿西面又高呼 “My name is…”。这使我这颗本来就没做好准备的心怦怦直跳。在准备的过程中，我心不在焉，一心只注视着别人的一举一动。终于轮到我了，在比赛室外的那一分钟等待，可把我折磨透了。一会儿传来比赛者清脆的'声音，一会儿又听见评委老师的窃窃私语。但是，当我一步入比赛现场，我倒不那么紧张了，从刚开始的自我介绍声音颤抖不一，到最后的流利平稳，似乎在这短短的七八分钟里有了翻天覆地的变化。终于我的比赛结束了。

　　从小屋里走出来的一瞬间，我真的长舒了一口气。不管结果怎么样，这都不是最重要的，不管有没有晋级，这都是对我英语水平的锻炼，是对我的肯定。我一定会继续努力的!
