　　A Telephone Call

　　One day小学生, my family were having lunch at table. All of a sudden, the telephone bell rang. My sister went to the telephone.

　　“This is Gong speaking. Who is there, please?”

　　“I want to talk with Gu Hongmei.”

　　“Sorry, there is no Gu Hongmei here.”

　　“No, I must talk with her. Please tell her about this!”

　　“…sorry, there is no person called Gu Hongmei in my home. Do you understand?”

　　“I don’t believe you.”

　　“OK. I don’t believe you, either.”

　　So my sister put down the telephone.

　　What a strange conversation!

　　今天，我穿着外小的校服，背上背包，带着好奇走进了香港保良局方王锦全的小学。

　　上课了，我端端正正地坐在座位上，讲台上一位精干的男老师开始讲课了。我惊讶地发现他的口音很纯正，和外教没什么分别，但从头至尾全是英文，还真有些听不懂。我急得快冒出汗来，慢慢地我的心情平静了一些，我想，如果在这里一言不发，那岂不是丢咱们外小的脸。于是，我努力地听老师的读音，虽然有一些单词听不懂，但是，我认真地听老师的`音调、仔细地看老师的动作，慢慢的，我听懂了老师说的意思。过了几分钟后，老师要我们表演，我试着举手，老师就点我。第一次站上台，我紧张极了，硬着头皮开始说，我说了一大串，真担心大家听不懂。但老师却竖起大拇指鼓励我，我兴奋地回到座位上。后来，老师又点了我几次，慢慢地，我开始轻松地和香港的小朋友们一起轻松地对话了。我发现，我每一次和别人上台表演完毕，大家都热情地为我鼓掌，他们可真有礼貌呀！

　　啊，这里的老师真好！叮叮叮，要吃饭了，我才恋恋不舍地离开了教室。
