　　“该死的英语，我要把你‘消灭’干净！”我仰天大叫了一声，手伸向书桌前的那个“庞然大物”——英汉词典。

　　熟悉我的人，可能会怀疑这还是我吗？其实也不能怪他们，从前的我是班里出了名的英语“困难户”。一遇到不会做的英语练习题，立马放弃，任由它在作业本上“张牙舞爪”。同学建议我可以多查查字典，我却嫌这个太麻烦，所以家里的英汉词典从买来起放在书架上都没挪过地方。老师也曾重点“关照”过我，可是只要老师一放松，我又立马恢复原形，为此老师头疼不已。

　　为了帮助我这个“困难户”，老师派了陈彬这位“爱心人士”来帮助我学习英语。

　　我想像了陈彬同学帮我学习英语的N个方法，但却万万料想不到，这位同学竟然极力推荐我玩一款游戏，并向我列举了它的种种好玩之处。天哪！这葫芦里卖的是什么药啊？看着一脸疑惑的我，陈彬只是笑了笑，没说话。

　　回到家，做完作业，脑中忽然闪过陈彬的话，心中的好奇心泛了起来。什么游戏，竟然能使他这个出了名的好学生也迷上了它。咱也看看，到底这个游戏有什么过人之处。

　　下载，安装，运行，终于OK。打开，我傻了眼：好家伙，竟然全是英文界面！欺负我不懂是吧？一怒之下，我拿起鼠标想删了它，食指高高举起，在选择“是”与“否”时却迟疑了：“是”，那不是让陈彬笑话嘛（英语不行，连游戏也不会），太没面子了；“否”，看着心烦，严重影响心情！那个纠结啊，真应了哈姆雷特的经典台词——To be or not to be, it’s a question!最后，我的自尊心占了上风，咬了咬牙，心中暗暗说道：作为“北大”（北仑区大碶中学的简称）的“高材生”，我就不相信解决不了眼前这个小小的游戏！

　　自此以后，书架上的英汉词典挪到了电脑桌前。看着满屏幕的英文，我一个词一个词地查词典搞清含义，碰到实在难理解的就请教陈彬同学。在耗费了我大半个月的业余时间之后，我终于熟悉了这款游戏，并玩得得心应手。“革命尚未成功，同志仍需努力！”又过了半月，我终于攻克了这款游戏的最后一关，我仰天长笑：小样，也不过如此嘛！突然屏幕上出现一行字：能过此关者，英语实在了得。啊？我目瞪口呆，搞了半天，我是中了陈彬那小子的招啦。

　　第二天一早，我就拦住陈彬，陈彬一看我一脸怒气就知道了大概。他笑着说：“通关了吧？怎样？感觉不错吧？我也是没办法，对你只能采取这个方法，谁让你软硬不吃，就是好胜。你看，效果不是挺好的'吗？”被他这么一说，我倒是愣了一下。回头想想也对，这段时间，我的英语水平如坐火箭一般“蹭蹭蹭”地往上升，试卷上那鲜红的“9”字头分数也频频出现，英语老师也不“关照”我了，每次看到我都是面带笑容。原来，一切都在不知不觉中改变着。
