　　去年暑假，我上了一个英语补习班。一开始，一切都很好。可是到总结考试的时候，意外发生了。

　　因为，我平时考试的成绩很好，所以，我理所当然地想：这次也一定与平时一样。当时试卷发下来的时候，我一看题目立刻就惊呆了—这张试卷竟是如此容易！于是，我“刷刷”地写了起来。写完之后，就不加思索地将试卷交了上去，在众人惊讶的目光中走出了教室。

　　第二天，试卷下来了。我看到周围的人脸上露着喜悦的光芒。原来，他们懂得了高分。我想：既然他们都得了高分，那么，我也一定能得高分。可是当时卷发到手时，我傻眼了—我实际的`分数和我想象中的分数截然不同，我考了一个前所未有的“好”成绩——实际的分数和我想象的分数截然不同，竟然是86分。看着这个鲜红的86分，我仿佛经历了一场“暴风雨”——父亲那张铁青的脸耷拉着、妈妈那喋喋不休的嘴唇不停地蠕动着。我仿佛还看到了试卷上那鲜红的分数在嘲笑我——笑我不认真、笑我急于求成。我哭了，哭得很伤心……

　　放学后，老师找到我，把错误的地方给我耐心地讲一遍，并语重心长地说：“莎莎，其实你有能力考100分，可惜太骄傲……”

　　老师的一席话使我茅塞顿开，明白了一个道理：虚心使人进步，骄傲使人落后。
