我们班的英语老师Mr.Yu是一个个子高高，体型中等的男老师。带着一副黑边眼镜，显得文质彬彬，他遇事淡定，还很幽默。
就拿那节课来说吧，课上Mr.Yu正在兴致勃勃地讲课，讲得手舞足蹈，我们也听得津津有味，突然，他停了下来，推了推眼镜说：“我们不论做什么都要认真，大家看xxx，开小差开得特别认。”Mr.Yu把“特别”二字拉得特别长，我们顺势看去，原来“徐徐”正专心地摆弄着什么，看到我们的目光，“徐徐”惭愧地低下了头……说罢Mr.Yu继续上课，上着上着他又走到“徐徐”边上，敲了敲他的桌子，原来他又故伎重施，我心想：这下Mr.Yu该大发雷霆了，可没想到他只是轻描淡写地说了句：“xxx同学，下课我邀请你到我办公室聊一聊啊。”“徐徐”听了正襟危坐，不敢再乱动了。我暗自惊叹：Mr.Yu真是个高人，连批评人都那么不动声色，用语还非常幽默，效果却立竿见影。
Mr.Yu教育犯错的人的'方法也很特别，有次英语课上我和同桌闹翻了天，“有幸”得到了他的邀请，下课来到了他的办公室。问清前因后果之后，他告诉我们要爱人如己，相互理解，之后给了我俩一人一包饼干，说：“奖励你们以后和睦相处。”就让我们回去上课了。犯了错还得奖励，这独特的“惩罚”，让我记忆犹新，直到现在我和同桌一直和睦相处。这独特的“惩罚”可不只有我俩领教过。以前“徐徐”和后面两位一上英语课就对着干，惩罚一次之后他们再也没有吵过。
这就是我的英语老师Mr.Yu，一个脸上总带着微笑，和气，幽默，像朋友一样的男老师。

迎着早春的晨风，我蹦蹦跳跳地和大家一起，来到了位于校园西南角的英语角这个小花园。花园前赫然立着一块浪花状的牌子，上面醒目地写着几个红色字母:English corner。花园的门口栽了两棵菩提树，它们摇着长长的手臂，似乎对我们表示欢迎。往前走，就是一条小径。小径左边长了一棵柏树，右边则长了一棵八角刺。它们发出沙沙的声音，似乎在警告我们不许破坏绿化。我沿着小径，穿过小桥，来到了花园中心。
花园的东面长了几棵高大的玉兰花。玉兰花还是一个个花苞呢，外面毛茸茸的，像一个初生的小婴儿。花园的南面有两个喷水池，喷水池十分平静，只有鱼儿游泳的声音，偶尔，你还能看到它们呢。水池边上是一座堆砌精美的假山，假山由一些奇形怪状的石头堆砌而成，远看过去，就像一座城堡。假山的旁边，是一片幽静的小竹林，里面长满了翠色欲滴的竹子，一阵风吹来，竹叶便沙沙作响，仿佛是女王在与密友窃窃私语。|||花园的`西面开满了花朵。腊梅开得正旺，这儿一丛，那儿一簇，很不少。瞧，腊梅的花瓣纤细颀长，呈透明的淡黄色，层层花瓣包裹的中心，是嫩黄的花蕊，细闻，还有一股清香哩。腊梅的后边，还栽了几株含苞欲放的茶花，像一个个害羞的小姑娘。最外层则是一些广玉兰，它们挺着高大的身躯，像是在保护这边花园。花园的北面有一片绿莹莹的草地。草地上长了许多不知名的小花小草，其中就包括艾草。草地两侧栽着几棵香樟树，似乎是守护这片草地的绿主人。
