　　They have different kinds of colors, such as red, yellow, and black. And they have many shapes, too. Some are long, but some are round. Some have gib heads, but some have long tails.

　　I wish I could be a fish and swim in the sea!

　　某一天晚上，我终于收到了英语竞赛的准考证，我忍不住大叫：“终于要竞赛了。”因为这个竞赛，让我和妈妈早在几个星期前日以继夜的练习，现在终于可以大展身手了，所以我抱着无论如何都要通过这次竞赛的决心全力以赴。

　　比赛当天，我以无比紧张的心情来到考场报到，现场每个考生都显得信心满满的，当然我也不例外。第一场是口试，我的对手竟然是个美国人，虽然我有准备而且有复习，但仍然无法和对手及主考官侃侃而谈，顿时让我感到书到用时方恨少。

　　接下来考的是阅读及写作，题目多到让我眼花了乱，尤其是语法题，那是我最弱的项目，我足足花了二十分钟才写完题目呢！竞赛进行到一半，居然有考生打了起来，真是令人难以置信，考场上竟然会上演争吵的剧情，简直就像个卖场一样闹哄哄的。虽然吵闹声一时让我觉得心烦气躁，但不一会儿回过神来，我还是努力地静下心来赶紧在时间内完成题目。

　　最后考的是听力测验，我专心致志的听着音档，当下虽然老师对正在争吵的.同学显得束手无策，但我不断的告诉自己不管任何情况都不能分心，集中精神，一定可以轻而易举地作完题目，最后，我终于完成了这个挑战，虽然竞赛成果还未公布，但这是我前所未有的体验，真是紧张、害怕、惊险、又恐怖的一天。
