　　Now， although people‘s life is much better，and we can eat the delicious foods everyday. People still like the festival. Because most people can have a long holiday，and we are free to go on a trip or visit our friends or have parties with our family.

　　In the evenings，we can have a big meal in the restaurant or stay at home with family and watch the TV programs.

　　不知从什么时候开始，每个星期六的晚上，橘子洲头会燃放焰火，吸引了许多市民和游客前来观看。

　　今年暑假的一个星期六，吃过晚饭，爸爸妈妈带着几个哥哥姐姐和我去橘子洲头看焰火。来到湘江边，这里的人可真多呵！晚上八点，焰火准时开始燃放。所有的.焰火都是那么五彩缤纷、五光十色，人群中不时发出一阵阵赞叹声、欢呼声。尤其是最后一个焰火，更是美不胜收。

　　八点二十分，焰火燃放结束，拥挤的人群慢慢散去，我们也随着人群心满意足地回家了。
