My parents will also celebrate it for me.

　　本次活动，六年级共有180名学生参加了比赛，50名同学进入了决赛，最后30名同学获奖。经过充分的赛前准备，在学校领导的大力支持下，英语研修组进行了精心的组织和安排，无论是从试题的命制，还是监考，到最后的阅卷，总分，奖品的书写方面，各个工作人员都能够认真负责，使活动有条不紊得进行。可以说，这次活动举行得很成功，通过作文比赛，使学生和教师共同了解了目前学生学习的状况，通过寻找差距，激发了学生学习的兴趣，也带动了一大批英语学习爱好者迎头赶上。

　　如今已是21世纪，英语已成为世界语言，我才刚刚接受英语，对英语了解的甚是肤浅，因此上网恶补了一番。英语，english，也称美语，作为当今世界事实上的国际社交语言，它取得的成功是史无前例的。从使用它的人口来说，以英语为母语的人数仅次于汉语而居世界第二位，大约有四亿多人。英语是用音标拼成的，我的《英汉小词典》上约有5500个单词和短语。oh！mygood！汉语有好几万个呢，英语才那么少，怪不是是世界语的`，越方便越适于交流嘛！不过，英语据我所知，有一般现在式、一般过去式、一般将来式……好多啊！今天，我在网上找到一个剑桥英语网站，里面有好多英语语法呢，还有什么“剑桥英语一级单体预备表”、“剑桥英语一级笔记”、“如何记单词”、“英语大全444法”看的我是眼花缭乱、目不暇接。我在上面啃了一天，还找到了444个日常口头用语，我一个一个的把它们拼写下来，不过那么多个我怎么全会呢？所以就得用字典了，在网上也有英语字典，我遇到不会的单词就在上面查，这种字典是有英语单词、音标和释义的那种，很好用。唔，英语，你真有趣。

　　为了提高我的英语学习成绩，放暑假的时候，妈妈为我报了一个英语学习班。

　　我第一次去上课，看到老师和同学们边做游戏边学习，感觉上课的气氛很好，于是很快进入学习氛围中，但是上了几次课后，就感觉到英语知识有些跟不上，所以上课总是没精打采，有时有不会的问题也不问老师，几次考试都考的很不理想，妈妈看到我这样批评了我，章老师也给我讲了很多的道理，最后我们约定，一个月以后看结果，如果我认真按老师的学习方法去努力，如果还是成绩还没有提高，那我就放弃这次英语学习。

　　自从和老师约定以后，我就试着按老师的'学习方法进行。端正学习态度，不懂就问，要求自己每天必须看、读、背，认真听懂每一堂课。只靠每星期两个小时的学习，是不够的，于是回到家我继续坚持读课文、看视频、背单词，有不会的问题问老师，以前我认为问问题会挨老师骂，可并不是我想象的那样，我不仅没有挨骂，反而老师还不断鼓励我，表扬我，使我在学习中得到了快乐。

　　时间一天一天的过去，我慢慢的进步了，第一次考了90分，第二次考了95分，第三次考了96分，我太高兴了，向100分冲刺了！学校的英语成绩也有很大的提高。事实证明我已经爱上了英语。
