也许长这么大，对我帮助最大的就是英语村了(English village)了。
英语村是我六年级毕业以后学校组织的一次英语活动。聘请外教来上课，吃住都在学校中，听说还可以在晚上搞搞活动，看看影片，其乐无穷。
于是，我动心了，便成为了英语村中的一名学子。好兴奋!虽说我的自理能力挺差的，不过，我更渴望一些自由，更渴望无拘无束地玩耍。我渴望与外教谈天说地，我渴望学到那纯正的英语……虽说我的英语水平说不上怎么好，但是，毕竟比别人多学了几年的剑桥英语，要是想表达一个意思，想法，那是绝对没问题的。想到自己在英语村中一定会很出色，不由地沾沾自喜。但现在想想，父母的`忠告的确是对的：“你不要感觉太好了，离开了父母你会碰到很多困难的。”而我却说了一句：“我不是自我感觉良好，而是自我感觉优秀!”

我们班的英语老师也是我们的班主任。
他是一个大约四十多岁的中年男子，个子不高，但有着一口浑厚的嗓音，读起英文来很是好听。
当然被分进他的班之前，就听过他的英语教学很棒。现在想想，这个好听的嗓音也是功不可没。
老师平时上课的时候会让我们先跟读，之后再自己朗读，课后再布置一些需要背诵的'片段。
有一次，我偷懒没有认真地背诵，结果课堂上被抽查到，于是放学后被留堂了。
那天被抽查到的好几个同学都不会，所以放学后我们被安排在老师办公室外先再背诵，等熟练了再背给老师听，过关了才可以回家。我自己背诵的时候还可以，可一面对老师就背得磕磕绊绊，好在老师也没有为难我，终于放我过关了。
还有一次，学校举行班级集体歌唱比赛，老师帮我们一起挑歌，而且他自己做指挥，也要先跟着练起来。
第一次他在我们面前亮嗓地时候，都把我们给惊艳到了，原来他不仅英语说的好，连唱歌也好听。
做为英语老师，我们大家都很喜欢上他的课，即使课上有抽查也不怕；做为班主任，他带领我们班拿了不少地荣誉，我觉得他是一个很棒的老师。
