　　the butterfly saw lily was crying and so she asked “why are you crying?” lily said, “he won’t give us water so we will die!” five days went by and the flower and lily died.

　　我疾步来到那里，大厅里早已人山人海，热闹非凡。我的心里既激动又紧张，因为今天我和杨丝雨第一次代表全班上台参加比赛。

　　主持人宣布比赛开始了。原本热闹非凡的大厅立刻安静了下来。大家都屏住呼吸，等待着选手们精彩、生动的表演。选手们有的信心十足，昂首挺胸地走上台；有的摩拳擦掌准备上台展示自己的绝技：有的一刻不停地默默背诵参赛内容……

　　“请13号选手做好准备！”我耳边响起主持人的声音，不禁打了个寒颤。“什么，这么快就到我们了，不会吧？”我和杨丝雨硬着头皮走上台，望着台下无数双眼睛，面对我班同学鼓励的微笑，我不停地安慰自己：同学们都看着你，不能给班级丢脸啊！”可是。我的脑子太不争气了，连第一句台词都抛到九霄云外了。怎么办？怎么办？正当我心急如焚时，耳边响起了杨丝雨的声音，原来，第一句是我和杨丝雨一起说的，我大大地松了口气。紧接着，我们流利地讲着准备好的'英语故事，一切顺利。当我们的表演结束时，大厅里热烈的掌声使我感到一丝放松。下台后，我才发现，我的腿竟然还在不停地微微颤抖。

　　很快，英语演讲比赛结束了，但同学们流利的口语、精彩的表演以及我紧张而害怕的镜头，依然在脑海中久久回荡……
