　　这个星期，我们学校举行了一年一度的英语节活动。今年的英语节活动非常精彩，其中令我印象最深刻的是我们英语社团表演的英文话剧《Theuglyduckling》（翻译成中文是丑小鸭的意思）。

　　记得在几个星期前，我们英语社团就开始对参演话剧的角色进行了选拔，经过口语、表演动作等方面的重重考核，英文话剧的'参演同学终于确定下来了，而我也很幸运地成为其中一员，在剧中扮演狐狸。在接下来的日子里，我们就开始忙碌起来了，经常跑进跑出，一会儿背台词，一会儿练动作，一会儿录音，一会儿彩排……参演的同学们都练得很认真，都想着在开幕式那天在台上把自己最好的一面拿出来，把这个话剧演好，让所有的同学都能喜欢我们的表演。

　　我们盼星星，盼月亮，终于盼到了英语节开幕式这天的到来。这天早上，英语社团的同学们都早早地来到了学校，换好了各自的服装，紧张地在台下等候。过了一会儿就轮到我们上台了，我们一个个都表演得比平时排练时还要卖力。我扮演的狐狸虽然台词不多，但我表演的时候非常认真，希望自己的表演能博得同学们的喝彩。

　　我们是第三个表演，原本非常自信，可看了前两个表演后，顿时，成了一个个泄了气的气球。就说第二个表演吧，他们演的是英文的“三打白骨精”。内容很多，也非常幽默，原本书中写的是悟空外出时，唐僧等人在原地休息，而表演的的同学们却改编成了在原地打扑克。这让全场的评委老师和同学都笑了起来。我们也哈哈大笑。不一会儿就到我们了。

　　我们径直走上舞台，快速布置起来。布置完背景后，我按照自己的稿子认真地念了起来。在警察出场时，闹了一个小笑话。我的旁白还没有念完时，警察就出来了。这也注定了我们的分数会下降。表演完了后，我们下场欣赏别的同学的`表演了。

　　我看了接下来的表演，有的表演《狐狸偷肉》，有人表演《小红帽》，还有人表演《狐假虎威》等经典的故事，我觉得我们最多只能拿最后一名，所以在心里下定了决心要好好学习英语，成为英语小能手。
