The longing summer vacation is approaching, it is the best part of the school year for me. I cannot let the holidays elapse meaninglessly, my vacation should be a phase of harvest. The events in my plan should give me a sense of infinite potential. The following plan may reveal the intensity of my desire to travel, work and study in this vacation. In the first few days I want to climb Mount HuaShan with several friends to refresh ourselves. Then I tend to visit relatives, senior school teachers and former classmates Besides, to find out the best ways to cultivate my abilities, I will find a part time job and conduct some social investigation. In short, I want to do interesting things in the summer vacation. Whatever I do, the goal is the same: to get necessary experience, acquire knowledge and broaden my horizons. Though the six week vacation will pass away at lightning speed, its influence is bound to last long.

Summer vacation is coming. Here is my plan. I am going to have a good rest after a hardworking term. I am going to do my homework every day inorder to finish doing it on time.
Of course, I am going to visit my friends and play table tennis with them. I am going to take an English course and a tennis course so that I can make a great progress in English and practice playing tennis. If time permit, I am goint to spend a week in Hainan Island with my parents because I like the beach very much. I am sure I am going to have a wonderful and meaningful summer vacation.

How I Spent My Summer Vacation
The summer vacation had come round again. I was happy that I could forget about school at least for a while. Lest I fool around all through this summer vacation, I made a plan as to how to spend it. First, I thought I should go over all those things my teachers taught in the previous term so that I could have a better understanding of them. Then I thought I should take up some forms of exercise, such as walking, running and rowing, to keep me physically strong. It stood to reason that with such a good plan I should make the best of my vacation time. I did, because I lived up to what I had planned.
暑假已经快要来临了。我很高兴，我可以至少有一段时间忘记学校。由于怕自己浪费了这个暑假，所以我做了一个计划。首先，我想我应该复习下老师教过的知识，这样我可以更好地了解。然后我想我应该采取一些运动，如散步，跑步和划船，让我身体强壮。我要充分利用假期时间，不辜负我的计划。

Last summer holiday, l went to Beijing for vacation with my family. We took the train to there. Beijing is a good place to visit. We went to the Tian′anmen Square at first. And l was shocked because of these… lt was prett amazing. Then, we visited The Great Wall. Just like its′ name ——great! We also went to The Palace Museum and Summer Palace. The buildigs were really wonderful.

As they sit in the office most of the time, they want to keep fit and make themselves look wonderful. Look at the models and the superstars, they have the perfect body shapes and they tell people the secret is to do enough exercise. Though we are not celebrities, we still need to keep healthy and make ourselves look good.

I spent this summer vacation in quite a different way. I used to run about every day in previous summer vacations,this summer vacation I simply could not afford to do so. I would soon be in the last year of my high-school education would after graduation be up against the college entrance examinations. Though those examinations were still a year away, I had to start early to make myself well prepared by reviewing all those things I had learned at school .this summer vacation was the ideal time for me to do this. At first I was rather dismayed at the thought of this, I thought it was better this way because by working hard this summer I could count on endless happy summers to come.
