I am very glad to stand here to give you a short speech. Today my topic is that the youth are the future of motherland 很高兴站在这里做这篇短小的演讲，我演讲的主题是青年是祖国的未来。

几千年的历史，对这个国家的人民来说，肯定造成了卓尔不凡的影响，比如说品行方面，尊老爱幼、宽宏大量、热爱祖国，可是有几个人真正做到了这些。我没法肯定这些我全部都做到了，但我将这些都看做了我每天的必做任务。
记得有一年，爸爸讲自己的'面包车给卖了，我也从此失去了自己的座驾，也失去了每天专车接送的特权，以及同学们羡慕的眼光。我默默地瞥了一眼电视，只听见新闻频道的主持人说：中国的空气质量越来越差，其中的最主要的一个原因就是汽车的尾气排放。妈妈看了看了我说：以后我骑自行车带你吧!我说：不!我自己走路好了，每天接送我多麻烦呀!第二天早晨，我背起书包，一个人走在路上，我看见那些大人为了给孩子们背书包，居然连腰都弯了下来。有些人看见了我，有感叹，有感动，更多的是指指点点。走自己的路，让别人说去吧!
中国人呀!觉醒吧!我不想再看到大人们为了孩子而跑东跑西，我也不想再看到同学们深夜与作业决战，我更不想看到有人忘记自己是中国人，说着汉语，却崇洋媚外，总说外国好，中国不好。中国不好，我们可以去改变它，只要人人都出一份力，还有什么不能做到的呢?
中国，一定会更好，即使只有梦，也要坚持做下去。
