　　Examination

　　There are many arguments about the advantages and disadvantages of examination. Some people think examination is the only way to test how examinees have mastered what they have studied and it is the only measurement for examiners to select which persons they need. While, on the other hand, some object that examination can’t measure how the students have really studied. They say it can do nothing but burden the students.

　　As for me, I think for both examiners and examinees, the examination can show what and how much the examinees have mastered. The results of examinations are just like mirrors for both examiners and examinees. Through examination the examiners can know whether they have done well, so that they’ll make much improvement in their work. As far as examinees are concerned, they can not only know how they have studied but also find out what they are still unknown or what they haven’t mastered well. Thus, they will be inspired to make greater efforts to improve their studying method so as to make greater progress. Of course, too many examinations are burdens to both examiners and examinees.

　　In sum, the examination does more good than harm for both examiners and examinees. We must take a correct attitude towards examination. We should take full advantage of it and avoid its disadvantage.

　　Nowadays a growing number of people, especiallythe 20s or 30s, tend to stay indoors for most of their spare time, especially on holidays. Somespend the majority of the time online chatting, blogging, shopping, dating or playing computergames. Some sit with their eyes glued to the television screen, day and night.

　　People's opinions vary when it comes to this way of killing time. A great number of people maintain that staying indoors is cheap, comfortable, and most importantly, very safe. Others,however, frown upon staying indoors for too long. They are worried that lack of physical exercise and face-to-face communication with others will do harm to people's body and mind.

　　Personally, I don't think staying indoors for most of the day should be advocated. Instead,people in all ages, their physical conditions permitting, should be encouraged to spend more time outdoors. The brilliant sunshine, the pleasant green space, the interactions with other people, etc. are all good for people's health, both physically and psychologically.

The saying revealsthat no matter what situation we are in, it is necessary and useful to makesome preparation for unpredictable emergencies. In modern times, it is quitenecessary to collect some money at any time to deal with changeable situation.What’s more, saving money is not only a good habit but also an essential coursein one’s lifetime. What we need to learn is not only to earn money but also learn to manage our money properly instead of spending unlimitedly. And saving money should be a part of our financial plan as well as we should be the masterof money rather than being controlled by money.

　　有一句老话是这样说的“省钱就是赚钱”。无论在什么情况下，为意料之外的紧急情况做一些准备是很有必要也是很有用的。在现代，随时随地存一些钱来应对多变的情况是很有必要的。更重要的是，存钱不仅是一个好习惯也是人的'一生中不可或缺一堂课。我们需要学习的不仅仅是赚钱，也要学会正确管理自己的钱而不是无节制的花钱。存钱应该是我们的财务计划的一部分，我们应该成为掌控金钱而不是让金钱掌控我们。

　　Therefore,saving money is a good habit, but I do not contend that we should not spend money at all and become a mean man. I am just saying that we should keep thehabit of saving money and spend money according to our plan.

　　因此，存钱是个好习惯，但我不主张一分钱都不花，成为一个小气的人。我只是想说我们应该养成存钱的习惯并按照计划花钱。
