I saw the monkey, the giraffe and so on. I saw these animals in the TV usually, but I saw them in front of me that day. The peacock impressed me so much, it looked homely when it laid down the ground, but when it stood up and opened the wings, it was so gorgeous. People said peacock was proud, indeed, it would not please people. I had a good time in the zoo.

　　Now, chances are that you have come across situations like these more than once in your life; chances are that one time or another you probably did something you knew to be wrong. You may have excused yourself by saying, "Gee, the crowd does it." Well, let the crowd do it, but don＇t do it

　　yourself. Learn to say, "No."

　　Develop your own standards and your own judgment. If you know the crowd is planning something you disagree with,have the courage to bow out politely. You＇ll have the satisfaction of standing on your own two feet.

　　九月一开学，初三生就正式吹响了中考复习的号角，很多考生都在担心能否提高自己的学习成绩，尤其是英语作文写作。其实，英语作文写作还是较容易提高的，只要你多注意下写作要点，那你知道中考英语作文写作要点有哪些吗?

　　第一，词汇量要充足。

　　词汇量多少很大程度上决定作文是否能写得下去，很多时候想到一个很好的句子或文字，但一下子词汇不记得了，导致无从下笔。词汇量不足的学生，要在接下来的时间里重点抓单词记忆。在记忆单词时要讲究方式方法，合理利用记忆规律。

　　第二，审题要充分。

　　很多同学在写英语作文时，普遍存在这样一个情况：看完作文题，就开始写，想到哪写到哪，只要把字数凑够了就停笔了。这样写出来的文章，看起来就像在记流水帐，没有任何逻辑，杂乱无章，毫无条理，同时容易出现用错时态、用错格式等的情况。因此，仔细审题和构思就成了写作的第一步。审题的重点放在写作体裁、格式、字数方面，确保第一遍审题就能保证得到基本分。同时还要文体和时态，因为不同的文体要求的写作格式也是不同的，时态的要求也非常重要。

　　第三，提纲要详细。

　　审完题后一定要列提纲。很多同学认为，中考英语作文译成中文，最多是小学二年级的语文作文水平，所以根本没有必要列提纲。其实，这种想法是非常错误的，因为提纲不仅能使文章的结构清晰，还有很重要的一点：防止漏掉作文内容。因为中考英语作文有一个很重要的要求：要点要全。如果你漏掉了需要写的内容，即使文章写得再优美，用词再准确，也拿不了高分。最后要注意打草稿，然后修改。这样可以保证错误降低至最少或者没有错误，同时也能保持卷面整洁。

　　第四，文化差异要注意。

　　我们要时刻牢记一点，中英文表达方式有很大的差异，所以体现在作文表达上也常常会出现生硬的'中国式作文表达，降低了我们的作文质量。所以注重中英语言差异，并努力找到两者之间的表达方式上的共通点，并且有意识的运用就能避免类似的问题。

　　最后，细节错误要摒弃。

　　很多孩子在写作文时常常感觉写得非常好，用上了几个高级句型或者不错的词汇短语，以为可以得高分，但最终结果出来后却与预想差距很大。主要的原因是很多细节没有注意。比如第三人称单数，名词的单复数，大小写，甚至标点、书写、段落安排等，这些细节问题也很重要。

　　A host of reasons may make this happen. To start with, an army of hunters have been killing rare wild animals just to make huge profits. That is the very reason why the mother elephant does not glad to hear that her son’s ivory growing. Another significant cause of the rapid reduction of wildlife is the disappearance of their natural habitats. Because the urbanization is advancing fast, forcing the animals give up their original places and change another site which may not be as good as before.

　　Accordingly, it is imperative for us to take drastic and effective measures to protect the wildlife. On the one hand, we can appeal to the government to make some strict laws to prevent them from being caught and killed. On another level, we must enhance citizen's awareness that loving the nature is everybody's responsibility. 　　今天，可是一个大日子，英语期中考!我最害怕的就是英语这科了，成绩总是上不去，从四年级开始，我的英语成绩都是八十几分，我一看见“八”这个字就觉得很反感，就很不开心，总是看起来不顺眼，今天，真是人生的坎坷啊!我会不会掉陷阱呐?

　　我很早就来到学校，拿出英语书没多久，班主任就来监考了。我真是大吃一惊，连给我们复习的时间都没有，岂不是考好的概率很低?“早点来，是因为要阅卷十分钟!”黄老师说，原来是这样，要阅卷的啊!

　　开始发卷子了，我仔细看着每一题，心中突然暗喜：啊，就这几题啊，简单简单!我笑嘻嘻的，又有一张笔试部分的卷子，我又看了看，哈哈，就这样啊，简单简单!

　　开始考了，我的`耳朵像兔子的耳朵一样，两只耳朵竖了起来，一顶得听得一个字母不漏，这样才能做到效率高，写得快啊!开始啦，我轻松自在地写着，直到第四题，我有难了!听力的录音好快啊，我一个字也没听清，勉强做了三题，又一次，我还是似懂非懂，只好靠自己昨天的复习能力啦，我开始推理，开始排除，开始使用进去读，哈!这题终于解了，看似不难，其实很难!

　　听力部分结束，看读写部分啦，选择题都是找关键词，还好昨天有听讲，不然选择题就是一道陷阱，我哇哇哇地找坑跳呢!然后是判断对错，哈哈，短文很简单，是课内的，我一下子就做完啦。还有一张卷子，是课外的阅读短文，我瞄了瞄同桌的，我的同桌是英语大师，做得很快的哟!谁也比不过，就算神仙下凡也得思想一阵子!我开始认真起来，终于，课外阅读做完了，现在迎接的是最难的一题：“制作周末计划”，要用英语表达，还有几些关键词哦!我想了一阵子，就开始写了，很快，我写完了，又瞄了瞄我的好同桌试卷，哇塞!她写得真够多啊，不愧是英语大师啊!

　　结束了，我真心希望能考好，以后要认真听讲啦，就不会有这么多的坎坷和陷阱了!
