At 4 pm on March 4th, Monday, 20xx, in front of the Student Canteen, more than 900 teachers and students participated in the activity with the theme “Fight against wasting but encourage to eat up everything on your plate” organized by the Students’ Union. First, we saw pictures on the boards which had recorded the terrible phenomena of wasting in the campus. After that, we watched video clips, from which we have learned that every year about 10 million people are dying of food shortage. Therefore, if we reduce food waste by 5% every day, we can save 4 million lives. And then everybody signed up to show our determination so as to cultivate our good habit, save food and refuse waste.

In addition, the growing number of students neglect their studies, idle away their time and even commit crimes thanks to CG., which is threatening situation we are unwilling to see. No better illustration of this idea can be thought than the example as mentioned below, a student, who had wanted to play CG but had little money ,made a reckless move to waylay and rob. CG, in some sense, is just like Pandoras box, which gives rise to some undesirable results unexpectedly. Therefore, no issue is as crucial to individual and national survival and prosperity as bringing CG under control in China.
From what have been argued above , it is necessary that some effective steps be carried out to check CG. On one hand, it is demanding for the government to make law to ban CG full of sex and violence on sale. On the other hand, we should assume our responsibilities and spare no effort to bring home people the awareness of harms concerning CG. Only by undergoing these measures, can we make our youths live in healthy life style, which has just gone to the heart of building up the cordial society .

That was a morning in the early of June. I took a bus to my school in the suburb which was surrounded by rice paddies and ponds. The sky was gray with the gloomy clouds conGREgating gradually along the far eastern horizon. "There must be a heavy rain soon." I spoke to myself.
When I hurried into the classroom, the sky, gray before, was shrouded now by black clouds, darken to twilight, I felt quite stuffy, while it was quite calm, without wind. I saw the leaves of trees and grass static, which seem to await something tohappen. Several minutes later, I saw the lightening split the clouds and heard the thunders following. Suddenly, the curtain of rain fell and the wind blew. soon the grass flattened under the wind and the rain. With the rain forming like a fog, the sky became bright. I took several deep breathes. I felt comfortable.
The heavy rain lasted three hours and stopped when the class was over. The air was so fresh and the sky was so clear. I felt like a new man myself.
