  一、课题来源及研究的目的和意义

  (一) 课题来源

  语言学之父索绪尔将人类语言从宏观的角度划分为语言和言语两大部分。其中,语言是相对静止的稳固的社会交际工具,而言语是不同社会群体运用语言进行交际的过程和结果。语言具有社会属性,而言语则具有更多的个性色彩。时至今日,多元化已经深入人类文明的每一个领域,任何一种有受众的文化的产生与发展都是对多元化整体的养料,那么语言的多元化也不例外, 尤其是在以信息媒体为介质的网络时代,网络语言深深扎根于网络世界,并借助网络与现实越来越紧密的联系,影响我们的现实语言。特别是作为受众最多的英语,它的网络语言不但影响并受母语为英语的人群影响,也对ESL学习者产生了很大的冲击,英语网络语言的特征有哪些,它的功能,影响是什么,英文母语使用者和ESL英文学习者的语法差异又是什么?ESL学习者又该如何掌握并且利用这些网络语言,从而提高自己对本土化英语的快速认知。本着解决这些问题的目的.,在导师的指导下,本人拟定了本研究题目。

  研究目的

  本文目的在于研究网络语言应用的概念,语言分析使用母语的个体在应用这些语言中的差异。主要侧重于英文为全球性在线语言背景下发展的两种网络语言的语法形式及相似和差异。对网络语言定义、性质、特点、词汇分类、语法特征、修辞手段等语法角度,以及谐音、缩略、飞白等习惯用法方面进行研究与定义。本文以模因论,、语体学、概念隐喻理论等为理论指导,比较英文母语使用者和中文网络用语使用者的网络语言,以便更加精确地把握和发掘两种网络语言的特征及规律 ,为今后正确使用两种网络语言提供理论基础。
